Yazd is situated in Iran&#39;s dry deserts and mountains, and it is dedicated to the flame of the ancient Zoroastrian sect, the flame of the Shao Ming religion mentioned in Mr. Jin Yong&#39;s novel. The temple is preserved with the &quot;fire&quot;, which is said to have been burned for more than 1,500 years since 470 AD, but has been relocated several times, and the present temple was built in 1934, with funds provided by the Zoroastrian Society of the Indian Pasians.
